HID BI-Xenon retrofit project

I am looking into buy a set of used halogen headlights for my 2012 ML350, either MB or DEPO brand off ebay and baking them to remove the halogen projectors and installing either EVO-XR bi-xenon projectors or D2S 4.0 bi-xenon projectors with E55 brackets. Either will have incredible output. My question is has anyone done this? Who has baked their headlights? Would Depo assemblies be easier to bake? Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you.

if you wanna do it DIY, im not saying its impossible, but it will be pricey and expensive, and you wanna do it and make sure you dont get errors when you start using them

I currently have H7 Morimoto HID kit installed and no errors. I would continue to use everything and but with D2S bulbs. There will be no errors. I think the most challenging part is separating the lens from the housing. Parts to do the retrofit will be around $250 which would include projector, projector bracket and AMP to D2S adapter. I already have D2S bulbs from another car. Cost can go up depending if I use my stock headlamps or buy used ones to do the work on.
