If you are interested in Mercedes CPO go to the Mercedes CPO site and search. If you just want a used one try auto trader. I purchased a 2015 CPO from a dealer two years ago. The CPO adds one extra year to the original 4 yr 50,000 mile warranty. On the Mercedes CPO site it usually list all the options. I recommend getting the parking assist package which I think is Premium 2 as well as Premium 1. I don't have Premium 2 so don't have the surround view for backing up, I only have the rear back up camera . Make sure you get Harmon sound system and the upgrades headlights. As for leather or Mercedes Tex vinyl, it a personal choice. The Mercedes -Tex is more durable but and probably better with kids. I personally prefer the leather.

thanks for the tip. How do you like the vehicle so far after 2 years ownership? How much MPG are you averaging? Could you share some pros and cons of this vehicle? Also are there any websites where I can enter the VIN to see all the options on the vehicle?

Im in love with our ML diesel on family trips, not sure if this is a good car as daily commuter especially if its Stop and Go traffic.

thanks for the link Dan , will be very helpful. By the way, are there any exterior differences between the 2012 to 2015 MLs or did they just keep the same exact bodystyle ?

We have a 2015 ML350 4 matic that I purchased in April 2016 as a CPO. I live in Arizona and bought it from a dealer in Texas. The car has a lot of options, including Night View Assist (never use it), side window sun blinds (which we use a lot), but doesn't have Keyless Go. I didn't realize it until I went to pick it up, but in 2015 it was a standalone option and it wasn't ordered. I had it on my previous ML and really miss it. It also doesn't have Parktronic, which the old one had. It's not an option I used a lot, but it was nice to have when needed. Both the old one and the newer one have the lighting package, which is a must in my opinion. The car had around 15,000 miles on it when I bought it. It presently has 97,000 miles on it and is still covered under the CPO warranty (unlimited mileage warranty was made with us in mind). Other than regular maintenance, the only thing that has had to be fixed, and it's covered by the warranty, is that the turn signals will stop working. If you restart the car, they'll work for about an hour and go out again. The dealer ordered a new turn signal assembly and will install that as soon as it comes in.

the way i see it, finding CPO with the options you want is a drag, might even have to look out of state, but it depends on what you prioritize in terms of what you want in the vehicle as well

Yep. I shopped every '15 CPO ML in Southern California for 3 months before finding the right car at the right price. Came real close to "settling" on one or two that didn't have the options I wanted but I'm glad I waited. Ended up getting exactly what I wanted.

I bought the neighbor's truck, didn't know a thing about it other than that it was a MB & a diesel (both a first for me) and a steal at $39k CAN with 12k miles and a balance of warranty.
- HK sound system
- Ambient lighting
- Pano roof
- Xenon
- Convenience package
- Running boards (which I've promptly removed)
- Park Assist (never used it, never will)
- Lane tracking (disengaged it, not crazy about a vibrating steering wheel)
- Keyless Go
- Leather interior
The only thing I really miss is the lack of a trailer hitch.

Hi, how much can I expect to pay for Mercedes dealer to do a PPI? Should I walk away from the deal if a particular dealer is not willing to let me take their car to the local Merc dealer for PPI- ?

We are in the process of looking also and going bigger from our GLK. Seems like a lot were sold with only Premium 1. Can only find a few that have really loaded options. Can barely find any with diesel or the pano sunroof. I love that motor in our glk and really want it again in the ml.

Yes agreed not much out there for bluetech loaded. The wife just wants at least bliss so she doesn't have a crazy list. I've got one lined up with that.
Yes I've researched the 3.0 motor. Not what I want. Our glk has the 2.1l. We have 38k on ours and it's great. That's the motor I want in our new one. I did see previous posts about the pano roof. That's just nuts. Ours has been perfect knock on wood. I don't think we'll get lucky enough to find one in the diesel.

I briefly drove an ML 250 BT (GLE 300d actually) in the USA last year, and IMHO it is quite underpowered. The 2.1L diesel four-pot is much too anemic for the extra ~1200 lbs in the ML / GLE over the GLK 250 BT, which I previously owned.
With the high biodiesel content crap that comes out of your pumps south of the border, I would frankly stay away from a diesel and get one with a gas engine. While the 229.52 spec oil somewhat alleviates the problems caused by the biodiesel content, it sacrifices even more engine protection in other areas - which for the diesels wasn't plentiful to begin with - so unless you keep changing the oil every 2,000 miles you're likely going to have some issues with the engine down the road no matter what in addition to the cost of servicing the emission control systems.
