Just Noticed Rear Wiper...

Just Noticed Rear Wiper...
2015 ML 350...

Just Noticed Rear Wiper will come on continuously when the rain sensor is detecting rain and you put the car into Reverse, without regard to the rear wiper switch setting being on or off.

Good old German engineering... overwrought and overthought.

it's tied into the front wiper switch. if that is on and you reverse, the rear wiper goes on. same on my '16. ron

Yes it does this but its violating my privacy.
Maybe I like to have that window dirty ))
