w166 ML 350 PROBLEM
I am driving a Mercedes ML 350 CDI which has clocked 85000 kms so far. It has been properly serviced and maintained. Im facing a peculiar problem with my car as at certain times when I fire the engine the central blower stops throwing any air and the side ones start giving hot air. Some times it goes into sport mode by itself. Moreover I feel a jerk in the gear change generally but once the blower goes silent there is a difference in the gear change, it improves. I had the transmission fluid replaced bur still it behaves in the same manner. Can there be a voltage drop as I can feel that the display also dims while the car changes the gear. Please advise me if anyone else has had similar problem ever and suggest me some remedy. I dont get any kind of message on any screen.

How long have you had the vehicle?
How long has the problem existed?
What modifications are on the vehicle?
What is the vehicle history, regarding collisions no matter how minor?

its been a year now
I had got the transmission fluid and filter replaced. The problem started about a quarter back
Its a stock vehicle
The car is all genuine and no collision history even minor

If you have a ML 350 CDI, this is the wrong forum. The last generation of the CDI was the W164.
P.S. For what it's worth, based on your description of the symptoms it sounds like you have a number of different (unrelated) problems. Unless you have the right tools (including DAS Xentry) and sufficient mechanical knowledge, you need to take it to a service shop that does.
