Please need advice. Road trip tomorrow.

Hello all,
Really need an advice. Going on the road trip tomorrow morning and not sure if its ok or not.
On Wednesday changed the oil and filter.
o-rings too.
Yesterday I found a little oil getting out under the oil cup, really just a mark but still.
I tighten the cup a little bit more.
Today still the same amount, coming right where the pointer is on the picture.
Unfortunately have it wiped with a finder.

Question is, Is it ok to take a cup off and check the o-ring and put it back?
Newer had this problem before and its not a huge amount but still something isn't right.

I don't have spare right now.

Thank you in advance.

Take it off and inspect, you might just have to relube the seal and put back on. Do not over tighten

You could have a little debris on the o-ring. I would take it off, carefully remove the o-ring from the oil filter cap, wipe it off and coat it again with a small amount of motor oil. Then put it back on and replace the filter housing cap. Torque the cap to specs (25 nM, do not over torque).

Thank you all, i didn't take the cup completely off just lose it a bit and tight it back to spec.
So far 300 miles on the road all looks good.
