Push to start
Gents, Hi
I watched a lot of YouTube videos regarding how to add “Push to Start” feature to my 2013 ML350. All videos were talking about adding the push to start button as on the picture attached. Is it that simple !!?
how do I know if this will work for me as well and I don’t need to change the key ignition?

of the key FOB and you can start/turn off car by pushing that button

If you have embossed "touch rectangles" on the outside of all 4 door handles - then you have Keyless Go - with is both Button Start and Keyless Entry - and you add a Keyless button and you are good.
I would not recommend using aftermarket to add Button Start or Keyless Entry - to much of a pain-in-the-a*s to install...

There are a good # of owner's out there who bought their rigs 2nd hand or from a non-MB dealer - with no Keyless Button - that "might" have "Keyless Go with missing button" - the tip is whether the door handles have the touch-area embossed or not. If you have the touch-area on the handles - you get a replacement for the missing button (like $35 at a dealer - or cheaper China knockoff's are available) and "boom" you're back in business.
