Bilstein B4 air shocks vs OEM ride quality

Hello, I'm thinking about replacing my worn shocks in my 2012 ML 350 with new Bilstein B4 air struts.
Does anyone know what is the difference between OEM and Bilstein shocks in terms of ride quality and comfort? I the ride much harsher over bumps?

I used Bilstein B4 struts / bags for my rear suspension last year. I don’t notice a difference from the original from when they were in good shape. Rides exactly as expected. The airbag has a different exterior material cover - that’s the only difference I noticed. Fits fine, if you have ADS it’s really the only option that is not rebuilt.

Make sure you order the clips in case you need them if you’re doing this yourself.
