driver's side door mirror can't fold
My 2012 ML 350 driver's side door mirror can't fold by press button.
Only can be folded by my hand.
When I press the button I can hear motor rotating smoothly, but it seems gear may not be attached.
Wondering anyone can give me a hint on how to fix it by myself?

If this happen to me, i will follow the YouTube video, check the connections( plug and unplug), check and see if there is any water damage on the connector, check the fuse, add lubricant on the motor, look for blockage that stop the mirror to close.... Hmmm that all i can think of now. And all the above just my 2 cents, not a professional mechanic. Good luck

It's been 4 years but curious what was the outcome.... I'm about to take my pax side window apart in an attempt to fix the "motor assy". Pins 4 and 5 of N69/1 plug 1 supply the reversable 12V to control IN/OUT commands...we will see. Any advice on motor remove would be appreciated.
