Anyone know where I can buy a pair of Xenon headlamp assemblies for a 2015 ML?
To put it bluntly, the stock halogens are TERRIBLE. I've tried several LED and Xenon upgrades - it's damn near impossible to position the LEDs the right way to get optimal light distribution, and the Xenon kits I've tried have a flimsy base that makes screwing them in to the already difficult to access assembly nearly impossible. I'm going to try a pair of 360 degree LED bulbs but I'm not optimistic.
I'd like to just get some stock xenon assemblies (or reproductions if those exist) and replace the halogen units on my ML. I've seen a few on eBay (never a pair) but the listings often state "broken tabs" or "no ballasts". What exactly would I need to complete this conversion besides the headlamp assemblies themselves?
