Rear view camera door stuck open
So, i was trying to reset my service A today and was pressing the phone button and OK buttons together and saw the hazards quickly flash once then twice. And of course that was wrong so it didn't work. Finally, I figured out the correct procedure to reset the service indicator and moved on. Well, just pulled out of the garage and noticed i had no 360 rear view camera in the nav screen. I got out and observed the rear view camera door stuck open. I am wondering if in my ridiculousness i may have disabled something when i was trying to reset the service indicator. Any help would be appreciated.

I sorted it out via the menu on central display, going to Settings and selecting 360 Camera on/off, the rear view camera has finally got retracted. Likely it was not a mechanical issue.

Keep the flames to a minimum. About a year ago, the rear camera on my wife's '14 ML350 wouldn't open. Someone here suggested hitting the inside of the hatch hard about where the camera is. I did so, and the camera opened and worked. It continued to work when we traded it in on a '23 GLE350. Maybe this trick will work in reverse?
