Replaced dead factory radio "Anti Theft Activated"
Hey guys,
The radio in my 2014 ML350 died, would only flash the "on" light and screen would not turn on.
Replaced the radio with one from another car, now it says "Anti Theft Activated - Service Required"
Does the new radio need to be coded to the car?
I have a Star, and can give a shot at coding it, if anyone knows how to do it, and can provide some instructions, that would be awesome!

So I used Vediamo to unlock the radio with the needed PIN.
Now the radio appears to work, however there is no sound. Xentry is showing a fault - Sound system not installed in new radio's MOST setting.
Anybody know how to change that coding?

Just finished it through vediamo. On 2014, I could not connect using DAS xentry and using regular xentry did not give options to activate the radio.
Other small issue I had is backup camera did not work, I had to go through vediamo and change settings as new radio unit thought I had regular backup camera, but I had 360 camera system.
