Eco mode not working
w166, ML350 Bluetec: My eco mode have stop working. The lamp at the button show green, but no ECO in instrument cluster. Eco mode seems to be disabled. At the same time this started to happen i also get code 111B00 "component nox sensor upstream scr has a plausibility error" Its NO check engine light, everything seem fine, and i see adblue fluid is folwing. Nox sensors is also new 6 months ago.
Its colder her in norway now, and i can see the battery voltage is 12.01 Volts when tha car stands stil. Is 12,01 volts to low, and could it be the reason for this two errors? (eco mode and upstream nox sensor) Again, NO check engine light.

Back to the OP's question...
I recently had to change the battery in my wife's GLA-250. I was getting random error codes and heavy cranking... now thinking back on it, the first sign of the battery issue was the failure to start/stop when ECO mode was active. A few weeks after that stopped working, small 'gremlins' started sporadically occuring that got worse and worse.
Could be coincidence, but the battery was original and over 5 years old at that point, and replacing it fixed everything. I know it's silly, but I considered the ECO mode an early warning sign. Might be worth the peace of mind if you're still on original battery.
