100k Mile Update 14 Gas ML350

CPO 2014 gas 4matic ML350 bought at 48,000 miles just crossed 101,000 miles. Impressed with reliability and build quality so far. Truck feels like it can easily go 200k+ miles. Literally has been trouble free just service A and service B. New Michelin Defender tires make the truck feel brand new. The brakes are impressive and last long. Never have I had a vehicle that the original suspension still felt tight as a drum at 100k miles. Steering is responsive a d tracks straight. This SUV is just a drama free drive, yet powerful enough to get out its own way with better than expected handling with the right tires. It’s absurd to see that this car is only worth 13-15k trade in as it feels just as good and solid as $60,000 newer vehicles today.

I must say that Mercedes service costs are not just outrageous, but almost borderline fraudulent! The dealer wanted $665 for service B (basically oil change, wipers (which doesn’t need replacing), brake fluid, cabin filter and a bunch of checks. Then, an additional $700 just to replace the front and rear differential fluid and transfer case fluid. That’s criminal and pure taking advantage of poor innocent folks. I got my Indy German shop to do all of that plus seal replacement on oil leak at camshaft all for a total of $901.

@WillieMack Thanks for the report, it sounds like you are having a good experience with the ML. Is your vehicle gasoline or diesel?

Title says gas. C'mon, you know by the report it's not an OM642.

Whoops, missed that. Unless the title was edited, I thought I checked.
