Sorry to ask a really noob question. Anybody know how to turn on the front bumper DRLs for W166 ML400? (See circled area below). I've tried all settings in the light switch but nothing seems to turn them on. My headlight DRLs can be switched on, but not the bumper ones. Thanks in advance!

Ebay and AliExpress is your friend. Depends if you want to replace the chrome trim, it cheaper to just replace the drl. With the chrome trim, i think it like $120 CAD

So the DRL's dont turn on? do you have the ILS package?
yea along these lines, the BC (Board computer) on the steering wheel side can guide you to turn them on. Only the 2016 + models have DRL's in the headlamps

Yeah the bumper DRLs don't turn on, whereas the headlight ones do. And I know the LEDs are working because I have set the the lights to turn off with delayed timing after locking the car and BOTH headlight & bumper DRLs actually turn on for the delayed turn off. That's the ONLY time those bumper DRLs light up. For normal times, only the headlight ones light up (see pic below, headlight DRL circled blue & bumper DRL circled green).
Had tried all light settings in settings menu to no avail.
Hey guys, I am sure it’s an option from the board computer. On the left side joystick on the wheel, just go right or left. There are Lights and convenience menus. There you will be able to find the option.

the lights in the bumper turn on continuously when the actual headlights are on, not just as DRLs, or when the delay is on upon locking
also, the indicator in the centre information panel must show the that the automatic high beam function is activated
at least, that is how it works on my 2015 ml400
