Fixed the HVAC on the 13 ML350 4matic

My daughter came home from work and told me the car was cold. I fired it up and yep, the climate control panel was completely dead.
Into the garage, pulled and checked the two 15 amp fuses related to the air con (Nos 13 and 19), both fine; put them back in.

Started the car up and the HVAC control panel was back, working fine.

Darned if I know.

Just remember to do your routine scheduled fuse removal and replacement maintenance (as detailed in the service manual, schedule E, page 600.25g) and these cars will last forever, I guess.

Bonus: I found my missing work headlamp in the engine bay's little tool tray. It must have been in there for at least two months. Battery was still good.

I don't know about this getting old stuff.

Well done. Must have been some corrosion on the fuse contacts. Was that a facetious comment about the "service manual"? I will go hunting for this document, but it doesn't sound familiar.

Yes, I was being facetious. Service manual, schedule E, page 600.25g is entirely fictitious.

My daughter had a warm drive to work this morning, though.
