2014 ML400 Electronic Problems

Not sure what is going on here, but car has had no electronic problems until yesterday. I got all of these warning messages at some stage. Most disappeared within 5 or 10 seconds, others I had to stop and restart to reset.
-Remote Battery Flat ( it has a new battery and measures 3.1v)
- Pre safe functions disabled
- Distronic Inoperative
- Active lane keep assist disabled.

Seems strange I am getting so many error messages, that I suspect something else is going wrong. Main battery appears to be strong as it starts easily.

Any ideas ???

Good point on main battery, is original so 7 years old.
Resting it is sitting at 11.8v , running 14.4v.

I know suspect this might be the problem.

So I replaced the a battery with a 850CCA AGM, as the battery was still the original - so it would have stopped working at some stage anyway.

Unfortunately, all of the error codes are still randomly appearing.

I plugged in my $10 OBD code reader, but it is useless - but it did show a OBD/ECU voltage of only 11.8v when engine is switched off. My multimeter measures 12.6v at the terminals under the hood - so I am now suspecting a voltage drop/drain somewhere.

Might need to go to mechanic, as I think is beyond my DIY abilities unfortunately.
