Gap in the rear of the sunroof when closed. Glass aligned properly
I had really bad wind noise and pretty bad water leak. When in for the exhaust recall at the dealer, I asked them to take a look.(
So they charged me $230 bucks for inspection...they inspected and simply told me the glass was not properly leveled. I got irked because I told them when I brought it in, that I was making various adjustments to see if I can fix it myself and just left it as is.
They then quoted me another hour to level the glass, and gave me a 50/50 chance of that even working which I knew it wouldn't...so knew they would charge me yet another hour if it wasn't that.
So when I got it back, I adjusted the glass properly and tried some additional tinkering.
Anyway, what I noticed after aligning the glass, when I close the sunroof, it's tilt in the rear is a wee bit too low still leaving small gap in the back causing slight air noise and a slight leak leaking. (the rear of the glass is as high as the adjustment allows for reference)
If I lightly tap the tilt button (press the rear up) once, it sits in the proper angle sealing it. Hitting it again, it tilts open all the way.
I had never even used tilt before tbh...So I don't know what position one light tap should even be.
So I tried the resync procedure as per the manual (hold it for three seconds) but there was confirmation of any kind (not even sure if there is confirmation) and no change anyway.
Is there a way to adjust the tilt for close? Should 1 light tap slightly open it and 2 taps fully open it?
I've searched far and wide and only find people adjusting the glass in the rear up. As mentioned though, I have the adjustment as high as it can go.
Thank you much for any advice.
