2013 ML350 AC Cold air on passenger side only

2013 ML350 AC Cold air on passenger side only
Low 40's on passenger side, high 50's on drivers side vents. Checked with a cheap thermometer.
Intermittent , and drivers side does eventually get cooler .
Has anyone encountered this problem? Any ez fix? Maybe something with a cabin sensor?
Ok, The fix was, go down to Auto Parts Store, rent AC manifold tester, get a good reference chart find the High and Low side numbers, dont forget to purge the lines of the rented gauges, get a can of pure refrigerant, get the brass adapter at the other auto parts store...I added about half the small can till the numbers were as the chart recommended. Oh, i had a thermometer in the ac vent....
I said all that to say I added freon . It was low enough to cool intermittently ....It's my understanding that those big cans of freon with the gauge, allow air into the system ....not good, and many have additives beware..
..4/18/2002 UPDATE: One year later, losing cool air on drivers side and good at other vents. I suspect a slow leak in the system. I will repeat the process above and get back with the results...
