2015 (W166) ML350 Cylinder head valve cover resealing costs
Hello MB Community!
I'm new to this forum / site. I recently took my 2015 ML350 to dealer for regular service and they found oil leak. Cylinder Head Assembly - Valve Cover: Cylinder head front covers leaking oil - Recommend reseal - $1577 in SF bay area. I did some research online, it probably takes 3 hours of work and parts around $150? Please let me know your recommendations. I've driven only 36K.

I just discovered my ML350 has this issue - discovered during the weekend oil/air filter change. I reviewed the WIS/ECS instructions but would like to hear about the process from a DIY perspective. I've googled a bit, but have come up short. What product did you use as sealant? did you have to pull the fuel rails? Any tips are welcome!
