W166-How to remove the annoying pin on the front wheel low beam housing door ?

I tried it all..
screwdrivers, trim puller tool but none of it worked to get that annoying pin off. I only managed to pry it up just a little but the dang thing doesn’t want to come off and didn’t want to break anything. Any suggestions.

can someone provide me with the part number for these pins?Going to put more force and if that doesn’t work I will just break it off with some vise grips.

update—- couldn’t get it off, got it off almost halfway but doesn’t pull off . And I didn’t want to break it.
I will buy these 2 step panel pliers and will hope it works.

This place is a joke.
The center rivet has to be removed completely before thr main rivet is pulled out.

mine doesn’t have a center rivet , it’s just one head. Maybe it’s an aftermarket one? I will buy those special pliers from Harbor Freight this weekend and hope that works.

thanks… but I’d rather do it the proper way by removing the front wheel fender door so that way I will have more clearance when installing the bulbs.

It's very easy. I used the tool from Amazon.
Amazon Amazon
The metal one.
Today I installed the LED lights including low beam and high beam from Lasfit( 20% off for Thanksgiving). They look much better than Halogen lights.
