ML350/Bluetech/2012/Glow Plug Issue
I was driving on the Hwy yesterday when a large red battery icon was presented on the dash. A few minutes later, I noticed a power issue. The vehicle would start to slow down even with the pedal down, it would then randomly start to speed up again. Command later shut down and a number of other things were starting to shut down as displayed on the dash.
This morning I turned the ignition and the vehicle will not move out of park. Command shut down again, the engine began to make a strange noise like it was having an issue idling, at the same time the instrument cluster started to flicker.
My scanner indicates P0381 - Glow plug/Heater indicator circuit.
I am about to tow the vehicle to my mechanic. Has anyone experienced this? Any suggestions?
