We've got a 2012 ML-350; it's running great and we've stayed up on all maintenance. It's been a phenomenal vehicle and only has 105K miles.
My wife had a mishap where she backed into the garage door and knocked off the roof mounted antenna and housing. When the dealership returned it after repair, there's a considerable gap around the base that wasn't there originally. They said they weather/water sealed it, but I'm curious since the gap is pronounced all the way around. Should it be flush with the roof as before, or is this customary of a repair now? I don't know why it wouldn't be flush like it was originally, but maybe something has changed since 2012?
