ML400 Brake pedal viberates when pressed at low speed
Hello All,
i have ML400 2015 model. Recently I changed the brake pads at a garage and not long after when I brake at low speed I feel vibration on the brake pedal, and when I press on the brake pedal and hold it while the car stationary I hear hissing noise like ear escaping near the pedal area. Took it back to the garage, they took the brake pads off, skimmed the disks again, sanded a bit the brake pads and I tried the brakes again and same issue. Then they told me need to change the brake booster.
I read on line that there was recall on my model regarding brake booster so I called the Mercedes dealer where I bought my car from, gave them VIN number, they checked and said my car was not one of those recalls.
any idea what is wrong with it, I really don’t want to change the brake booster and ended up not the issue.

The hissing is from a bad seal on the booster. The same thing happened to my old ML w163. The vibrating in the pedal is prob from warped rotors. Or if it feels like the ABS vibration then you might have a bad wheel speed sensor. That happened to me in my Audi. It was vibrate like crazy at parking lot speeds when coming to a stop.
