2012 ML 350 Bluetec Check Engine Light

Search through the forum didn't bring result, so I'm asking my question in hope somebody here could help with the problem. Thank you.
On my 2112 ML350 Bluetec the Check Engine Light apears every time when I drive it for more than 150 km at once, and disappeares on the next day without any intervention from my side.
Friend of mine has generic (not MB specific), but advanced diagnostic computer, and he told me that it shows a problem with first Lambda Sensor (ozone sensor?).
Question is: why is happens only if I drive the certain distance, and why it disapperes next day?
If I drive more that 150 km during the day with several stops, like usual daily drive with stops at the office, on project site, on warehouse, etc, I don't have CEL on. it is on only if I drive long distance at once.
Any thoughts?
