360 camera default to front view?

360 camera default to front view?
I recently purchased a 2015 ML350 W166. I noticed when driving into my garage the front camera view came on automatically. While trying to get acquainted with the command I may have negated that feature. I have looked at various YouTube video,searched the manual, but none address my question. Does anyone know how to get this feature back?

There is no such feature. No idea what you may or may not have done to activate the camera (I have mine assigned to one of the two "Favourite" keys), but unless you were going in reverse it did not come on automatically.

Front view only comes on after you first go into reverse (displaying rear view) and then shift into Drive which then displays the front view. Front view will stay on until you drive forward above 19 MPH.

I have no idea either. I drove the car home from the dealer entered the garage and the front camera came on. Can you explain how to assign this function to Favourite keys? Are the favourite keys in a submenu somewhere?

The Favourite key(s) are the one or two keys labelled with a star around the COMAND shuttle wheel on the center console - see first PDF attachment. You can assign a function to the button (or both if you have two of them as I do on mine) - see second attached PDF how to do it.
