Cargo mat vs. cargo tray?

My new-to-me ML400 is being transported to me tomorrow, so I'm on borrowed time if I want the salesman to get me a cargo mat/tray before it gets picked up. A search brought up 1666800146, "reversible mat", but I think what I'm after is more of a rigid tray. Thoughts?

Like the versatility. Carpet for looks and rubber when you need to take something dirty, (mulch, lawn mover etc I always prefer the reversable type

Reversable is a great feature. As far as Weathertech, there are much better products available with more protection. My Weathertech's were replaced with Maxpider 3d's. They go higher in the footwell, so gunk doesn't fall off your shoe and behind the floormat.
