Apologies if this is the wrong place but I'm from Toronto and was looking to buy a used 2014 ML 350 bluetec. I've read online that as a result of this class action lawsuit, the warranty gets extended on certain parts (read the list) and that owners that buy their vehicle after Dec 2021 are also eligible if the car did not have a field sensor as of that date. My questions are as follows:

- Is anything wrong with my understanding? This seems like a no-brainer given warranty will be extended (for parts listed above) for up to 4 years
- For those of you based around Toronto, have you found a good independent mechanic? One that you would recommend?
- Would you be inclined towards buying a used 2014 model with 120k KMs?
