2015 Mercedes-Benz ML 350

replace brake fluid on 2015 ML 350

Good morning,

My 2015 ML 350 has 45K miles, I am thinking it is time for overdue brake fluid replace myself. Does anyone has any recommendations? I am thinking to buy Motive bleeder method without use press brake method, but I do not know what be ok with SBC-Sensotronic Brake Control by use this method? any ideas?

2008 E350, 2012 ML350, 2014 E350, 2015 ML350

There is no SBC on the 2015 ML as far as I know unless you are referring to something else, and you are overdue on your brake fluid replacement: it is @20K miles, or every other year to prevent moisture accumulation.

Perhaps you are referring to the PreSafe Brake Assist system that came after the SBC debacle on the E-Class

I did my Cayenne last night with less than 1 liter, same size vehicle as the ML/GLE. I could have done my GLE with 1 liter but I always had an extra liter on hand.

If you are familiar with the process and know how to use the pressure bleeder, 1 liter is enough. Buy 2 liters and you will have an extra bottle as backup. If you don't use the second bottle (keep it sealed), you can use it for the next brake fluid replacement job in 2 years.

1 litre will be enough. I've always had another bottle on hand just in case I underestimate how much I've bleed out but never had to use it. I like to really flush it each time so you should be good to go.

I was prepared to get front and real brake pad, and brake fluid from fceuro, I read all the information about brake fluid replace and brake pad replace here. now I am ready to do this two jobs in one, so wonder what steps do I need to follow:

1. get ready to get some brake fluid out of brake fluid tank and add new fluid, and then add the rest of fluid to Motive Products, European Power Brake Bleeder, and then connect to the fluid tank.

to remove the passenger side real tire, and now I am not sure, do I need go to the console to retracting Electronic brake pads caliper,, replace real pad first and then do remove the old fluid? or remove brake fluid first and then go to console to retracting Electronic brake pads caliper,, replace real pad?
