ML400 - 128i - Atlas VR6
Just drove 700+ miles in 36 hours
It was the most comfortable road trip I have ever taken and still felt I could have kept driving!
For context I have and had small performance oriented cars ever since I got my license. I currently have a 2012 128i 6MT and a 2016 GTI 6MT, both since new. Both cars I have been on six hour one way drives multiple times and as fun as they are especially on back roads, there was no comparison in the comfort I experienced! I even had some fun on the backroads redlining and shifting gears with the flappy paddles and taking some hard turns in the fully loaded M-class!
For how the suv is designed for luxury, it definitely is able to have a lot of fun! 81k miles on my ML350 and it felt new with how smooth and quiet it was.
I am looking forward to the next family road trip in the black panzer!
