Collision Warning System with Active Brake Intervention

My Datacard does list "258 COLLIS.WARN. SYS. W/ ACTIVE BRAKE INTERV. FCW STOP" but I have had to jam on my brakes to avoid close call rear-end collisions.
I do not have distronic. Could my "ACTIVE BRAKE INTERV." need service/adjustment/repair??
I am familiar with the beep-beep warnings in plain open roads. You can scan your chassis to collect the faults from the 3x front radars ghosting?
This is caused by unstable voltage transients as seen by main long distance radar.
Local MB specialist may be able to confirm what options to expect.
🤞

unplug bad radars - No more positive or false trigger!
Beware:

Now you can drive without crazy breaking out of the blue... in this mode you are 100% in charge, radar interaction canceled.
Problem being the Front Radar Solderless circuit board need a 5mn soldering job. Chassis vibrations and heat work a bad number on purpose built electronic circuits.

Now I totally rely on ESP and the SGW radar to manage my braking distance... that's why I wrote about new behaviors without radar.
Besides marginal solderless pins, the harness connectors are hardly sealed. Whenever exposed to rain projections... water can penetrate all 5 radar modules (front + back).... SILICONE RTV!!

The "Active BS" option allows the car to avoid collision by combining brakes + steering... I've experienced that once, very effective and welcome intervention.
