EGR Issue on 2015 Mercedes-Benz ML350 Bluetec Diesel
1. First Mechanic:
- Initial charge: $200; issue recurred in 2 weeks.
- Second visit: Giving me estimate of another $500 for EGR sensor replacement.
2. Second Mechanic:
- Diagnosed sensor problem; charged $150 for inspection.
- Estimated repair cost: $700, though typical costs are $150-$200 according to online sources.
I have moderate car knowledge and have noticed that codes are being deleted rather than resolved. The car's acceleration slows when the issue arises but returns to normal after code deletion.
Is there a reliable tutorial or DIY guide to address this EGR sensor issue?
I have Attached the diagnostic codes for reference.
Thank you !
Mercedes got caught cheating and has had to make amends (and modifications). Part of that is an extended warranty on most of the engine IF you're in an eligible area. The USA is in an eligible area. Click the link above for better answers.
