I have a 2014 ML350, which has been a great car for us. In the trunk/back where you open up the tail gate, there are 2 chrome sill plates on the inside. After years of putting groceries, etc in the back, they got pull up and bent so I took them off thinking at some point I would purchase a replacement. When I called mercedes to get the part number, they told me the entire interior trim piece must be replaced ( mbz part # 16669099009051)
, which costs a whopping $500+, if you can get it! I've included a picture of the entire part, I'd just like to replace the silver/chrome covers, if possible. thanks!
Does anyone know of a replacement cover that I can put on this so it doesn't look so unsightly but without breaking the bank?
