Differential or Transfer Case Service at 100k miles?

Afternoon, I have a 15 ML 350 2wd and I don't believe the transfer case or differentials have ever been serviced. Should I get everything done? Is transfer case required for a non 4-matic car and do I need to do both front and rear diffs or just the rear? I would appreciate any feedback. Also would this be a good price? Thank you guys.

I change mine (both front and rear differentials + the transfer case) every 100 000 km (around 60k-65k miles). It might be overkill, but it's very easy to do it yourself. Plus it's not very expensive.

If you have a 2WD, why do you have a transfer case and two differentials?

Apologies, forgot 2wd cars don't have a front diff or transfer case.

Labor charge for rear differential is reasonable. Fluid shouldn't be more than 2 liters -- $29 seems about 2x what retail price is for Motul, but you will be buying it in a genuine MB plastic bottle (lol).

Does Mercedes have an official published differential and transfer case fluid change interval for the W166, or is it one of those "lifetime fill" deals?
