Spark plugs
I need to replace the plugs on my '05 CL55 supercharged engine. (I know the original plugs appear to be NGKs.)
My MB OM lists NGK ILFR6A as the correct plug. (NGK USA lists this as the correct plug also.)
Dealer has MB part number 004 159 1303 in those nice little boxes. however, when they are taken out the plug is NGK LFR6A.
I assume this is either mislabeled or AMG has revised their plug recommendation since the OM was printed. I prefer to use the OE part but even the parts manager is scratching her head!
Is there a tech who can tell me which plug I should use?
