2006 CL55 AMG

Power Trunk Operation Question?

OK, just purchased 2006 CL55 AMG. The trunk works great, but I guess its pre- programmed to shut after about 30 seconds! I can't even vacuum in there, just enough time to get my hands out of way

.

Anyone know how to reprogram to just stay up when opened?

I am unaware of a setting or configuration that would do this. It doesn't sound like a function that Mercedes-Benz would even make configurable due to the potential injuries that it could result in. If you resist it closing, does it open back up?

A workaround would be to disconnect your battery while vacuuming in there, but again, this should not be a setting; it sounds like a malfunction that DAS would need to help diagnose.

I know how to program those settings if you need
