2006 S55 Transmission issue
On my way home from work Monday, my transmission started acting strange. It was fine at first, but then it would slip badly after coming to a stop light or stop sign. Shutting the car off and right back on did nothing, but if I let it sit a half hour it would work again for 5-10 minutes before acting up again. I checked fluid level and it's fine. I took it out for a quick ride yesterday to see if it's still doing that, and again, it drove perfectly fine, even at full throttle with no slippage until it warmed up, then it won't even move under it's own power until I let it sit about a half hour. Every now and then, I also hear a slight whining noise that sounds like what a supercharger sounds like with open filters, but that sound is there even at idle, and it seems to show up about the same time the trans starts slipping. I checked the fluid level while it was in drive in that condition and it's not low.
Any ideas?

UPDATE**** I did the trans adaptive shift reset procedure and now it kind of works. It still acts up, but now it takes 10-15 minutes, and when it does act up, turning off the car and restarting it after 10 seconds gets it going again for another 10-15 minutes. I only had to shut down 3 times on my 25 mile trip into work. So I think it's either going to be a conductor plate issue, or a TCU issue.
