Help diagnos A/C issue. SOLVED!!!!

Hello,

I have been having issues with the air conditioning system on my 2008 C63 and am looking for some assistance in diagnosing the problem.

Up until a few weeks ago, the A/C would blow cold while cruising and when the weather wasn't too humid. Now it has stopped blowing cold all together.

I managed to get my hands on a pressure testing tool and the results were as follows:

A/C off: Low side 89psi, High side 115 psi
A/C on : Low side 88psi, High side 105psi.

I'm guessing it is either the compressor or the expansion valve stuck open.

Any A/C expert here that can chime in?

Thanks. I tried to add refrigerant yesterday but the system would not take it, so I suspect the compressor isn't working.

I'll check the pressure switch first, and if I see power going to the compressor, then I guess I need a new compressor.
