RESOLVED: Cannot connect to ESP/ABS module after factory update

Hello,

Ever since MB performed an update to the ESP/ABS module, they have not been able to connect again to the ESP/ABS module to diagnose "abs/esp inoperative", "cruise control inoperative", "run flat inoperative", speedometer not working.

Neither MB, nor my local MB tech using a snap-on diagnostic tool can connect to the module to diagnose the above issues.

Last year I replaced both rear tone rings and this year replaced the brake light switch, but I imagine replacing parts isn't going to help if the ESP module isn't connecting. If I reset module by disconnecting the battery, it works for a few miles then the lights come back on.

Help!
Thanks!

So I just tested both front abs wheel sensors using the ohm and volt tests and they both failed. I’m assuming that means both need to be replaced.
