Backup Camera Inop
My '12 S63 won't display the backup camera. It displays marks on the screen but no camera. I took it to the dealer and they said it was a power module, they put one in and there was no change. They didn't charge me for this, luckily. Now, they insist it is the Command Module. The cost is $5600 !!!
I will not pay that much for just a backup camera, so I'll be looking for a used Command Module. Anyone else had this issue? Everything else on the display is perfect.

Have you done any easy probing around for continuity?
1- Test that the camera module gets its power: both +12 and GND.
2- Then scan odb2 to see if module is responding to test the CAN.
3- Last repeat wiggling test for video cable.
I bet you have a split where the harness snakes around from trunk arms to chassis - A classic
