M156 Project.

Hello everyone I am new to this forum I have an sl63 amg 2011.
A couple months ago my intake valve on the driver side bent.I have taken out the motor

engine : I have ppr port and polish heads , ppr sleeve block, ppr titanium alloy rods, and ppr vanadium titanium alloy pistons, ppr head studs. (Ppr claimed capabilities can rev up to 11,500 rpm and can handle 1500 whp plus)
63motor sports : titanium everything with stage 3 everything as well.
Tuner will be: THE ONE AND ONLY EIGHTYSIXTUNE( BARRY).
transmission: in contact with southern hot rods and after that I’m going to be looking into a sequential gear box
LSD: havent don’t any research yet…
ecu: stand alone
Fuel: e85/91 still figuring out the fueling for my vehicle.
throttle body: i want to get 85MM but depending on fitment 82MM might be it
boost application: PTG 4.0 supercharger ATM exploring options for max WHP. ( boost level not yet to be determined)
camshafts: waiting cams to come out :/ ATM no one has some on the market but it’s okay…
Cooling mods:killer chiller, meth injection (still figuring it out.)
Exhaust: MBH headers into straight pipe out of the rocker panel (i have cutoff valves ). But when it’s closed it’s mbh headers into x pipe into resonators and mufflers. NO CATS AT ALL.
let me know if u have any questions, concerns or tips. I’m friendly hahaha located in SOCAL !

I installed an M-Factory LSD in my 2007 E63. They cryogenically treat their gears unlike the “others” and are half the cost! It was their model for the C63 that fit my pumpkin and I pulled the ring and pinion from a 2007-2009 Chrysler 300 SRT8 ( diffs were made by Mercedes as they literally show the logo!) to change gearing from 2.82 to 3.06 final drive which put me right at 3000 rpm at 55mph in 4th gear, right at the beginning of the powerband! And a guy in London was able to reprogram my TCU for the gearing! Just a thought! But being you have the SL, it may already come with the 3.06 final drive?

I believe for the Sl63 it is already a 3.06 final drive

Thumbs up M156 V8 6.2 N/A Engine

New to this Forum. nice of you to share this info. Just got that 4.0 from PTG and pushed quite a bit . But appreciate the info and forged internals rods and pistons. It does make a world of difference. These at PTG did a great job with install, and that 4.0 displacement is absolutely not joke!!!

Couldn't find the parts needed to do it on HT site as they been on back=order adn i was waiting for months so i just did the 4.0 upgrade and loving it..lol
