Results from Eurocharged "Dyno Day" in Victoria, TX.

Ok guys....finally have some actual number to put with my tune from Jerry at Eurocharged/LET. I'm having one heck of a busy day...so I'll add more description later, but for now here's the graphs...

All of these runs were either totally stock (down to the paper filter) or tune only. The only aftermarket part on the car was a Johnson IC pump. I will have some supporting mods in the near (I hope) future; but in the meantime enjoy the data I have.

On a side note, as others read in this section also, the best 55 car I saw that day was ~530 hp and ~590 lbs; and needless to say that was NOT tune only. That's still an impressive number; but if you'll look below you'll see what a tune only V12TT can do.

Also, huge thanks to Jerry for the HOURS on end he and his guys dedicated to us in Victoria. They didn't pull out until 2am Sunday morning and had a 6am flight to catch...big props to them for their help and dedication!

Baseline (Stock) Run...Under rated by MB much?:

Custom Tune - Run 1:

Custom Tune - Run 2:

Comparison Graph:

Needless to say, I'm a happy camper...but, I'm a happy camper in desperate need of finishing my new heat exchanger.

Honestly? Like a Mercedes. It's VERY fast and will damn sure pin you...but it's still not a violent car. I still have great driveability and it's almost like a video game...very fast, but very quiet.

I will say this, though...I need a TCU mod quick - ask me how I know, haha!

So, this was just a flash? No other supporting mods?

Correct, those dyno runs only included a Johnson IC pump as the only non-stock part. Supporting mods are "Coming Soon", and I will keep folks who are interested updated.

theres no voodoo man, its just not fair to compare especially load bearing dynos....your gains are what you made before and after on your dyno, now when u go to the track and if you trap over 119 your car is running like it should. If you want more power get a custom tune or some more mods, I can help you get as much power as you want

not that many stock SL600's have run and reported their times, but 600's stock seem to trap in the 114-116 range

He's right, there's a LOT that could have affected our differences. Temp could be a big one, I might have had better luck controlling IATs on that run than on yours. Also...keep in mind that my tune is a custom tune, not a canned tune. I don't know if yours is, so that could also be a factor. I did pick up some torque over the original canned tune that was in the car. At this point, I don't think a tune can really get me any more power until I can control my IATs...those fluctuations on the dyno graphs above are the car getting high IATs and the wastegates dumping my boost. So, I really feel like at this point, Jerry has done as much as he possibly could, tune wise.

We'll know tomorrow. I'm flashing back to stock, while at the track, for comparison purposes. We'll have good hard data that way.

Yeah, I would think I'd own that record in the 2010 calender year.
