Boost Problems

I have a 2005 CL600 I use the car a lot so it does have 95,555 miles on it now, but a week ago I put the car on a dyno and it would only put out 10 psi and nothing more but it does stay at 10 psi constantly. I did a smoke test and there were no leaks.

I plugged it into a OBD2 reader and it did not throw any codes and drove on the freeway on a hot humid day about 93 degrees out, my IAT was about 178F to 185F and my coolant temperature was about 205F. I recently put a johnson IC pump so its not bad but the inter-coolers are still burning hot.

I pulled the intake manifolds off and cleaned them I also replaced a MAP sensor, I kind of feel like maybe the IAT sensor is reading wrong.

Anyone have a idea whats wrong. I don't want to say its the turbos because they are not making weird noises what so ever, but next week Ill pull the down pipe and check for oil leak.

I have heard, but not from experience perhaps the IC's were not bled properly. Sounds likewith those IAT temps you may have air in coolant circuit

Thanks Ill try to take the air out and see if that changes anything. I think I read somewhere that if the IAT is too high the motor will go into safe mode and run lower boost?

Ok so i tried to let bled the IC and I used some 3/8 fuel line and let the engine warm up but there was no flow, so I check the IC pump and there was coolent flowing though them, it just wont come out the two knobs on the IC.

Bleeder valves?, they should **** out coolant, u may have an air bubble, if so I am sure there is a DIY here somewhere, or take it to a shop that has proper prssure equipment to fill system

You need to add water to the top filler while bleeding. The water level should drop when you bleed and eventually it should bleed water slowly.

Don't assume the pump is good if it doesn't do this. They can apparently go bad very quickly. But you definitely have an air or pump issue.
