A little confused - doesn't the V12TT already have cold air intakes?
There are two removable plastic pipes that head from each air filter assy down the side of the engine compartment to the side of the main water radiator.
So the engine picks up air from in front of all the radiators; same as other W220's in fact.
Just imagine what it would be like if it didn't.
Or are you talking about where you have after-market filters like K&Ns?

Nick

I am talking about an intake without the stock filters or boxes.Like with the k&n cones,or scorpion intake that speedriven offers.
Just wondering if anyone has tackled anything like this before.

Extra points for resurrecting a 9 year old thread. I have to wonder why on earth someone would want to do that, sucking in very hot under-hood air rather than the cool air from the stock intake.
