Where to draw 12v power from in the CL600 engine bay?
Raising an old post, but I was curious about the 12V power source in the engine bay. Can you elaborate?
Thanks!
It would help a bit when the car is moving slowing or when you race you are in the staging lanes you can trun that fan on. TO be honest I dont think it will help that much.[/QUOTE]
Thanks!
1) Is this a custom made intercooler or a "standard" element made to fit?
Both the Primary and the secondary are custom made from new cores. The 600s only have the thin heat exchanger between the radiator and the front bumper, so we made a bigger one and also added a secondary unit in front bu the bumper support.
2) What signal/power do you use to trigger/drive (run) the Aux fan you mounted?
We used a switched 12v power source from the ECU box in the engine, bay. I can take pictures of the wire.
3) Would a small Aux fan (like one from a motorcycle) in front of the extra intercooler be an idea?
