CL600 pulling wheels off the ground
I haven't seen a picture of a MB that lifted the front tires at the drag strip so I figured I would post one. Despite the intense heat today I manged to get a smidge of daylight under the tires while it was still daylight today. After the sun went down I managed to lauch the car much harder than in this picture, but unfortunatly it was dark and I my cameraman couldn't get a good view of the front tires.
For the time being 1.48-1.58 60's occured every test run today. I still have a lot of work to do with the boost controller off the line. Once it cools down it may be possible to dip into the 1.3X-1.40 consistantly. I have worked the major bugs out of the car and I am getting closer to my goal.

There's a member here who goes by the screen name blackbenzz who has a CLK that will "lift the front wheels" on the regular. Can usually find him in the W211 AMG forum.
