I imagine for the sensors going bad you get some sort of feedback in the diagnostics system to show faulty sensors. All my sensors look good and there's no faults recorded for the suspension system.

An electrical failure in any of those will store a code.

Much more annoying is a sensor(s) not being accurate for the control unit making choices based on lies.

Plug into Xentry and ask for current values in ABC. It should give numbers for each corner. Ask it to level the car. Where height still isn’t right ask it to raise or lower each corner and save values once set correctly.

I've been trying to find out how to individually adjust ride height on a per-corner basis but so far nobody has known the detail. There are some values you can change for angle of the suspension arm (measured by the level sensor) but the tweaking room within the program is very small so seems like you're not really able to make big adjustments either to fix uneven heights or if you wanted to 'slam' it to the deck. If it was as simple as you say I wouldn't be on here asking about it.

I don't think my system stored/presented an error code when my acceleration/roll sensor started tweaking out. I just drove around with my scanner showing live values till it started doing it again, and singled out the bad sensor that way. The front end of the car on one corner all but slammed itself into the road when that sensor started going.

The system takes inputs from what appears to be 3 (or 4) sets of somewhat redundant (imo) sensors. Arm angle reader, plunger depth, yaw/roll, accel/decel sensors. When my arm angle reader broke, I was able to get the car to spring back to a much more sane ride geometry by unplugging one of the roll sensors in the engine bay while running. Wonder what your car would do in that situation.

The arm angle sensor didn't give any error even though it was clearly physically disconnected from the control arm.
You might check yours and see if it's firmly mounted. If the little metal plate that's bolted to the control arm has backed out a little bit that may cause the weird corner.
