Let’s talk IATs
2005 SL65
I have the M279 intercooler expansion tank and a new bosch “010” pump. The system is bled and I get a steady stream of coolant from the shraders when I press them while the pump is running.
When the ambient temp is 75-80 degrees Fahrenheit, I am seeing IATs of around 140 Fahrenheit in driving around town, mostly staying out of boost. It can get upwards of 175F when not moving, and then drops back down once I start accelerating again.
Have any of you tracked your IATs and had similar experiences. I think mine seem kinda high and I’m wondering if my new pump is weak.
