Description:
For Sale:
2005 E55 AMG with 93k miles.
Features:
Panoramic roof, dynamic seats, original wheels, long tube headers, 82 t/b, split h/e, intake spacers, Fabtech under-hood aftercooler tank, welded 180 pulley, transmission tune (Eurocharged), lower-temp thermostat, intake scoops, fine tuned on dyno by Jerry 3 different times.
Most of the original parts go with the car. This car's fastest 1/4 mile time is 10.967. The car was well known on this forum in the past as the E55 owned by "Cutt". I absolutely love this car, but want to move onto something else. Less than 5k miles on brakes and tires. New battery in May 2017. The front ball joints were changed in April 2017. Oil change in May 2018. All recalls have been taken care of. The front passenger strut was replaced with an Arnott. Panoramic roof does not function properly. No other known issues.
562 whp and ~620 torque. $14,500, Located in Louisiana.

Do you still have the car / can you show maintenance for things done in the period you've owned it? I don't mind if a car has been put through it's paces, but if it's done doughnuts over and over and worn out the transmission/radiator "strawberry" issue to the point I'm on the cusp of a major repair, or the non-Arnott suspension is dying I'd like to know in advance. It wouldn't make me NOT buy the car, I'd just make me consider the additional costs if 4-8 hours after turning the car off the tires are sitting on the wheel-wells.
I like fast... I just don't want another project. Stock is nice, well / cleanly modified is nicer. I know these cars can make 600+ hp without any real danger to the transmission/engine....

I still have the car. I’ve never done donuts or burnouts in the car, not that kind of driver. I have changed the front control arms and ball joints and done an oil change. Didn’t take it anywhere, so no records. The guy I bought it from did all the mods and maintenance, no records. I don’t know of any issues other than what’s listed about the pano roof.
The car was Dyno'd a few months before being sold to AustoMotasto and that showed that the engine was good and strong. But man that engine is tight in there! Hard to get around it, unlike the 32.
