OK, lets assume some one was looking to build a SL hotrod/track rat. Is the chassis too far gone? Still may not be worth saving for this as high mileage SL's go relatively inexpensive these days. Plus shipping a non runner from Florida to Indiana may not make sense. But do you have a price in mind as a roller? I'd likely loose the ABC, possibly traditional brakes and top would get fixed in up position. I fear the distance will make this cost prohibitive, but thought I'd ask.

$2500 for everything-coils, wires, supercharger, accessories, belts, etc.
$1500 for the longblock with valve covers, oil pan, front and rear covers, but no accessories or supercharger.
It ran smooth and wasn’t a particularly noisy one (I.e. piston slap, oil pump drive chain slap, etc)

I'm interested in a glove box lamp assembly, the rear MB emblem and interior fasteners, trunk latch assy, all three accelerometers, ABC valve blocks front and rear. Also would like to know the condition of your retractable top hydraulic cylinders. Are they original or have any been rebuilt? Might be interested if they've been rebuilt.
