2014 E350 Wagon, 2007 S600, 2009 SL550 with ABC removed, 2011 S400 with Hybrid removed
I lowered it to $15,900 but decided to keep it after driving friend's almost new basic S class - $100,000 gives you much inferior cheap materials in the interior so it makes sense to have something with better interior and better performance for under $20,000 (the closest new V12 car would be $230,000 Maybach). Plus that almost new S class with 20k miles was already showing more interior wear than my car, so obviously those new materials don't last much.

Our Designo S65 has 80,000 miles and looks brand new.
If I were buying used, I would take a S550 with the Designo interior (almost never spec'd) or S600 Designo over a S63 or S65 with the regular interior.

15k is not really something to "wow" about. Plenty of s600 in the 07-10 range can be found for around the 8-12K range in the south east. Pretty sure the same for cali market as well. Haven't checked in a while but last time i did the market out there is fairly comparable to FL.

Very true, but have you seen any of those cars? Often beaten up junk with many owners deferring maintenance. So be prepared to spend $10-$20k to sort them out, still having often worn out interior/rust/paint jobs etc. Florida is full of rusty junk now, seems like lots of cars have moved from New York and such. I've seen a nice one on Hemmings for $40,000, not sure if it sold and for how much. But in any case very few buyer understand those cars so not easy to sell.
